In-Person and Online Therapy
Are you feeling anxious or overwhelmed? You don’t have to carry it all on your own. I offer a space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s going on, and reconnect with yourself.
I am a qualified therapist based in Banchory. I am passionate about helping people find clarity through their life challenges.
Sometimes, things can feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply too much to carry alone. You may feel stuck in depression, facing complicated relationships, or sensing that you're not OK on the inside. Often, people come to therapy when they’ve been holding a lot inside.
Transactional Analysis Counselling for Anxiety, Relationships & Self-Worth
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down and begin to understand yourself more deeply, without judgement or pressure to “have it all together”.
Many people come to therapy because they feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in painful relationship patterns, disconnected from themselves, or simply exhausted from carrying everything alone.
My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, which means we explore not only what is happening for you now but also the deeper patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds that lie beneath. Together, we look at how your past experiences may still influence your relationships, self-worth, boundaries, emotions and sense of identity.

A Space to Truly Reconnect with Yourself

What I offer is a genuine therapeutic relationship rooted in warmth, honesty and depth.
A place where people can feel deeply heard without judgment, and where the parts of themselves they usually hide do not need to be pushed away.
I value curiosity and authenticity, and I aim to create a space where every part of you can exist safely, including the parts that feel anxious, ashamed, angry, needy, lost or uncertain.
Our work together is about deepening self-understanding, exploring patterns with compassion rather than criticism, and finding more grounded, fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.
Clients often tell me they feel deeply heard in our work together. This is from a recent client:
"Sanaze is an excellent, professional psychotherapist, she is very calming and kind, she picks up on issues immediately, with understanding.
The reason for contacting a psychologist was I was grieving, after the suicide of my son and I suffered from terrible guilt, leaving me distraught and being in a dark place.
Sanaze has been instrumental in my recovery, moving forward, and creating an understanding and reflection,so I was able to see the bigger picture.
The guilt has disappeared, I can deal with my grief now and enjoy life and remember the very good times I enjoyed with my son. I highly recommend Sanaze, she is a lovely, intelligent and caring lady.
I will always be thankful for her work with me, getting me back on track.
Thank you very much Sanaze.
